Job summary

You will collect required documents, create a loan submission package for Underwriting, track loan status, communicate with attorneys and title companies, and provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone—while upholding the bank's standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related consumer loan processing experience.
• Knowledge of Lending Compliance regulations, incl. Reg X, Reg Z, Reg B, Fair Lending, HMDA.
• CFPB compliance standards and Fannie Mae guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review initial loan approval and gather documentation with the borrower and Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Collect required documentation for the loan package.
• Create a loan submission package for Underwriting.
• Record data to track loan status in processing.
• Submit files to Underwriter for approval and satisfy conditions.
• Ensure approvals meet lending guidelines.
• Communicate with attorneys, county clerks, and title companies.
• Provide customer service in person and by phone.
