Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of consumer loan processing experience.
• Knowledge of lending compliance regulations (RESPA, Regulation Z, Regulation B, Fair Lending).
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
• Intermediate math, computer, and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review initial loan approvals and gather documentation with borrowers and Mortgage Loan Officers.
• Collect required documentation and create loan submission packages for Underwriting.
• Record data to track processing status and submit files to Underwriters.
• Satisfy conditions, ensure lending guidelines are met, and communicate with attorneys, title companies, and county clerks.
• Provide customer service in person and by phone; perform required administrative duties.
