Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Loan Processor in the Branch Department to handle mortgage files from receipt to final approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role focuses on building strong customer service for builders and homebuyers through careful documentation and AU determinations. Responsibilities include coordinating with underwriters, adhering to QC standards, and maintaining timely, precise records across multiple loan files while supporting the bridge between sales and funding

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of a file from a Loan Officer through Final Approval.
• Review file for stacking order, AU findings, and documentation; input changes and re-run AU determination.
• Submit files to Underwriter and review conditions; update system and resubmit to AU as needed.
• Adhere to Quality Control policies and respond to QC write-ups within 10 days.
• Review various reports daily and weekly to manage loan progress and timelines.
• Maintain communication logs and attend weekly processor meetings.
