Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Loan Processor to handle mortgage loan files from receipt to final approval and to provide exceptional service to builders and home buyers.

Candidates should have a 1-year certificate or equivalent, 3–6 months of experience, and proficiency with MS Office and email. You will work with loan officers, underwriters, and QC teams to maintain accurate records and timely closings.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school.
• 3–6 months of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt of a file from a Loan Officer through Final Approval.
• Review the file for correct stacking order, AU findings and documentation; update systems.
• Submit all files to a DHI Underwriter and respond to conditions.
• Read updates and comply with all QC policies and respond to QC write-ups within 10 days.
• Attend weekly processor meetings and reconcile the Fee Summary Sheet.
