Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Loan Processor in the Branch Department to process mortgage loans and deliver high-quality customer service to builders and home buyers.

The position focuses on file intake, underwriting coordination, QC compliance, and timely communication. Ideal candidates have a certificate and some related experience, with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school is required.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt of a file from a Loan Officer through Final Approval.
• Review the file for correct stacking order, AU findings, and documentation; input changes and re-run AU.
• Submit files to a DHI Underwriter and review conditions; update systems and resubmit as needed.
• Read updates and comply with Quality Control policies; respond to QC write-ups within 10 days.
• Review various loan operation reports and assist Branch Manager as directed.
• Maintain an accurate communication log and attend weekly processor meetings.
• Reconcile the Fee Summary Sheet; perform other duties as assigned.
