Express Employment Professionals in Springfield, IL is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team. This full-time role keeps you as the key connector between loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers, guiding each loan from application through closing.

You’ll collect and review borrower documents, verify third-party reports, submit packages to underwriting, and keep all parties updated, while adhering to mortgage regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage processing or related finance roles is a plus.
• High accuracy for reviewing financial documents and entering data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and multitask to meet closing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and review borrower documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Order and verify third-party documentation, including credit reports, title searches, appraisals, and employment verifications.
• Submit complete loan packages to underwriting and help clear conditions for final approval.
• Keep borrowers, loan officers, and real estate agents updated on file status in a clear, professional way.
• Maintain strict adherence to company guidelines and mortgage industry regulations.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Up to $22.00/hour

• Order and verify third-party documentation, including credit reports, title searches, appraisals, and employment verifications
• Submit complete loan packages to underwriting and help clear conditions for final approval
• Keep borrowers, loan officers, and real estate agents updated on file status in a clear, professional way
• Maintain strict adherence to company guidelines and mortgage industry regulations
