Job summary

OMB Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant Processor to support mortgage lending operations. The role involves preparing and filing home loan applications, setting up loan files, ordering appraisals and titles, and contacting customers for supporting documents.

Office location is Springfield, MO with standard hours of 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed based on loan volume. Entry-level opportunity with benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in finance or business administration.
• 1–2 years of banking experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Mortgage Loan Assistant Processor

Job Summary

A mortgage loan assistant processor is an entry level position that assists all other mortgage lending support staff with the preparation and filing of home loan and applications. Duties will include setting up loan files, ordering appraisals and titles, contacting customers for supporting documents, and preparing disclosure notifications based on funding source.

Primary Location/Schedule:

• 1650 E BattlefieldSuite 210 Springfield, MO 65804
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday; overtime and weekends based on loan volume
• Fulltime: 40 hours per week average

Position Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in finance or business administration preferred
• One to two years of prior banking experience preferred

• Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
• Basic knowledge of banking operations, documentation, policy and procedures
