Quontic Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor in Branson, MO to manage the mortgage loan process from origination to funding. You'll support the V.P. and mortgage department by collecting necessary documents to meet closing deadlines.

Job Profile

The bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor who will be responsible for the processing of a mortgage loan from origination to funding.

Support the V.P. Mortgage Loan Officer and the mortgage department by collecting necessary documents and managing the transaction to ensure the closing deadline is met.

Education Level
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
Work Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of banking/loan experience (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Arrange loan settlement/closing; notify customer and prepare the completed settlement package for closing.
  • Assist in the collection of mortgage payments.
  • Assist the Mortgage Loan Officer in achieving annual deposit and loan goals.
  • Attend various mortgage courses or other general banking courses as required.
  • Compile all loan documents needed for all parties to effectively respond to all mortgage loan requests.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and independent processing of mortgage loan files from origination through closing, in compliance with all laws, regulations, and bank policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintain neat, complete, and up-to-date files.
  • Prepare and review early loan disclosures.
  • Proactively communicate loan status with the customer.
  • Process loans through underwriting systems and review findings with the underwriter(s) and the loan officer.
  • Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory required trainings.
  • Review signed settlement papers and CDs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with closing instructions.
  • Solicit new business for Branson Bank.
  • Take mortgage applicants and input information accurately.
  • Work with customers and the Loan Officer to resolve problems and answer questions.
  • Work with customers, Realtors, and closing companies to ensure good relations and timely loan closings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
