Responsibilities

1. Review all closed loan files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they meet all required regulations.
2. Work closely with title companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during closing.
3. Activate Mortgage Insurance Certificates and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
4. Identify and address missing documentation or file deficiencies, ensuring matters are resolved within specified timelines.
5. Maintain compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies, staying current with changes.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in loan closing or post-closing roles.
2. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
3. Strong knowledge of conventional and government loans.
4. Experience working with title companies and understanding their role in closing.
5. Familiarity with activation of Mortgage Insurance Certificates.
6. Proven ability to identify and address missing documentation within specified timelines.
