Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Loan Partner II to join our Matthews, NC team. This in-office role supports Loan Originators, handles pre-approvals, file preparation, and client communication to move loans from application to close.

You will collaborate with processors, underwriters, and referral partners while maintaining proactive updates and exceptional service for borrowers and Realtors.

Qualifications

• Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in good standing.
• Minimum 2–3 years mortgage industry experience, in origination, processing, or loan support.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting requirements, and guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist borrowers with completing mortgage applications and gathering documentation.
• Review borrower documents for accuracy and identify missing items.
• Pre-qualify borrowers and prepare accurate pre-approvals.
• Evaluate loan scenarios with the Loan Originator and structure financing options.
• Prepare complete loan files for submission with compliant disclosures.
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters and operations to progress loans toward closing.
• Maintain proactive borrower communication and provide status updates.
• Communicate with Realtors, builders and referral partners on loan status.
• Coordinate with appraisers, title companies, and verification services.
• Monitor pipeline, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely closings.
• Identify issues early and work with team to resolve them.
• Support business development activities and partner communications.
