Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Partner to manage incoming leads, support the Loan Officer through the pre-approval process, and deliver a high-touch client experience from first contact through contract.

The role requires 3+ years of residential mortgage experience, familiarity with Encompass/Blend, and the ability to review income, assets and credit to issue accurate pre-approval letters. A strong communicator with excellent time‑management is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential mortgage experience involving borrower qualification and pre-approval review.
• Experience reviewing automated underwriting findings through DU and LPA.
• Proficiency with Encompass, Blend, Mortgage Coach or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Answer and schedule incoming calls; notify agents of new leads and respond within 20–30 minutes.
• Process high-level applications and confirm appointments a day ahead.
• Provide borrowers with documentation lists, links and initial guidance for pre‑approval.
• Review income/assets/credit and issue accurate Pre‑Approval Letters with permission.
• Maintain Lead Tracker, update notes, and coordinate with LO team for follow‑ups.
