Job summary

Myers Capital Hawaii is seeking a driven Mortgage Loan Originator for our Inside Sales team. You will receive provided leads and referrals and focus your energy entirely on converting them into closed loans with in-house processing and underwriting support.

Responsibilities include contacting leads promptly, analyzing borrower needs, applying for loans, pulling credit, coordinating with the processor through underwriting and closing, and maintaining CRM records to meet monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mortgage origination or financial sales experience.
• Active NMLS license required.
• Strong phone-based communication and consultative sales skills.
• Working knowledge of conventional loan products and the mortgage process.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Contact and convert provided leads and borrower referrals promptly.
• Conduct thorough needs analysis and advise on appropriate loan products.
• Complete loan applications, pull credit, and prepare initial disclosures.
• Coordinate with the in-house processor through underwriting and closing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
• Meet and exceed monthly production and closing targets.
