D.R. Horton, America2s Builder, is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in our Financial Services Branch.

You will interview applicants, explain financing options, and originate loans while building relationships with customers and real estate partners. The role requires travel, occasional overtime, weekend builder community coverage, and strong knowledge of mortgage products, lock procedures, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory timelines.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage applicants to understand financing options and goals
• Be accessible to buyers and involved parties to answer questions and provide updates
• Maintain reports in origination software and CRM
• Review new leads daily and contact them to earn their business
• Manage daily loan pipeline from application to funding
• Present loan products in sales meetings and builder communities
• Provide disclosures to applicants within regulatory timelines
• Travel overnight as needed and work overtime
• Market mortgage products to potential business sources and develop leads
