U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned non-bank territory, handling applications and preliminary underwriting reviews. You will submit to processing and underwriting and ensure timely collection of documents for processing, underwriting and closing.

The role involves significant travel—at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations—and requires strong sales skills, knowledge of underwriting guidelines, and an active NMLS registration under SAFE Act

Competenze

NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z, with ongoing compliance
High school degree or equivalent required
Two+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience preferred

Mansioni

Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory
Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews
Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval
Follow up to ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner
Spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations performing sales-related activities
