Job summary

MortgageRight seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to support our Dayton, Ohio team. The role is remote for the Dayton OH Branch and focuses on guiding applicants through the mortgage process and handling administrative tasks.

You will track referrals, manage data, liaise with clients, Realtors and attorneys, input loan data, run credit checks, and assist with file submission and underwriting. A solid knowledge of loan types and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Mortgage program knowledge with 2 years' LOA experience.
• OH/KY/IN LO license required.
• Strong communication with clients, processors, and referral partners.
• Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Construction loans preferred.
• Detail oriented with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Marketing or social media experience a plus.
• Mortgage loan processing experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

MortgageRight is looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to join our team and work remote for our Dayton OH Branch. The Loan Origination Assistant will assist the Mortgage Originator(s) through the application process on an ongoing basis as well as to perform daily administrative and relationship building duties. Knowledge of all loan types with a healthy mix of conventional/government/non-qm/private lending.

• Track referrals, update data base and maintain contact with customers, Realtors and Attorneys.
• Experience with file set up and AUS troubleshooting.
• Obtain necessary information and guide applicants through the mortgage process (such as requesting documents, running credit, working with client’s Realtors, etc.) gathering conditions up to file submission.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have mortgage program knowledge with 2 years' experience as an LOA
• Obtain and maintain LO license in OH/KY/IN
• Must have ability to communicate mortgage requirements to clients, processors, and referral partners.
• Experience in marketing/social media is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are required.
• Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Construction and other types of mortgages is preferred.
• Must be pro-active and initiate action to correct problems as necessary.
• Must be detail oriented and can prioritize tasks in a logical manner.

Required Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
