Mortgage Loan Origination Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Origination Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the mortgage lending process and gain valuable industry experience in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.

This is an in-office position, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist mortgage loan officers with the preparation and processing of loan applications
• Gather and verify necessary documentation from clients to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate communication between clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
• Maintain organized records of loan files and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Schedule appointments and follow up with clients throughout the loan process
• Support the team in meeting deadlines and achieving loan origination goals

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid NMLS license or willingness to obtain licensing within a specified timeframe
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in mortgage lending or related financial services is a plus but not required
