Job summary

Jet Direct Mortgage is hiring a Mortgage Loan Originator to join a team that emphasizes in-house underwriting, proprietary product guidance, and aggressive compensation plans. The role focuses on ethical service, building client relationships, and maintaining a robust pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have an active STATE NMLS license, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to self-generate business with a professional network.

Qualifications

• Active STATE NMLS license required.
• Detail-oriented with thoughtful decision-making skills.
• Maintain mortgage licenses by completing mandatory annual continuing education.
• Solid understanding of appraisals, title reports, and product guidelines.
• Proficient with Encompass and other technical systems.
• Current knowledge of regulatory, policy, and compliance issues in mortgage industry.
• Ability to build and expand a network of prospects, customers, Realtors, and referral partners.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients by assessing their needs and recommending mortgage products.
• Manage a successful pipeline and efficiently collect necessary documentation.
• Develop and maintain a network of Realtors and referral sources to grow business.
