Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Loan Originator. The Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, guiding clients through the loan application process, assessing financial situations, and advising on suitable loan options. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with real estate referral partners, attending real estate trade events, analyzing client credit history, financial documents, and assets to pre-underwrite loan applications, coordinating with underwriters, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Loan Origination and Mortgage Lending
• Knowledge of Agency, FHA, VA, and NQM Underwriting Guidelines
• Strong understanding of Finance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial documents and make sound decisions
• Experience in commercial mortgages and residential real estate sales is a plus
