Job summary

Lennar in Irving, TX is seeking a Loan Officer Associate. This role supports Loan Officers and develops knowledge to become a Loan Officer.

You will participate in online and classroom trainings and gain hands-on experience by assisting the Loan Officer and Division Managers. A values-driven position focused on customer service, learning mortgage products, pricing, and the loan process from application to closing.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; BA or BS preferred.
• Mortgage or banking experience is helpful.
• Ability to articulate product features, benefits, and value to customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in formal training programs covering lending basics and licensing requirements.
• Assist Loan Officers and Division Managers with daily tasks and loan data entry.
• Maintain notes in the Loan Origination System and help set up files as needed.
• Collaborate with builders and realtors on local marketing activities and relationships.
• Provide prompt, multi-channel communication to borrowers and schedule meetings as required.
