Job summary

Fairway Funding Group, a Florida-based in-house residential mortgage lender, seeks experienced Loan Officers to advise borrowers and manage files from application to closing with our in-house underwriting, processing, and closing teams.

Hold an active Florida MLO license or be working toward one; originate loans for self-employed, 1099 and first-time buyers using bank statements, P&L, DSCR and asset-based options. A mentorship from a producing LO and a custom comp plan are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Florida MLO license or in progress
• Experience originated loans
• Ability to manage multiple files in LOS/CRM
• Ability to build relationships with realtors, builders and borrowers
• Commitment to compliance and doing right by borrowers

Responsibilities

• Advise borrowers and match them to the right loan
• Take files from application to closing with our in-house underwriting, processing and closing teams
• Keep borrowers, agents and partners updated at every step
• Build your pipeline through referrals, agent and builder partnerships and your own network with our help

Fairway Funding Group is a fully in-house residential mortgage lender based in Florida. We specialize in flexible financing for self-employed, 1099 and first-time buyers. We fund on our own warehouse lines and control every file from start to finish, which makes us as flexible as any lender out there and lets us fight to get every deal closed. You're a fit if you

• Hold an active Florida MLO license, or is working toward one
• Have originated loans before. Newer LOs who want structured mentorship are welcome too.
• Know your LOS and CRM, and keep multiple files moving without dropping details
• Like building relationships with realtors, builders and past clients
• Care about compliance and doing right by borrowers
