Job summary

Holy Rosary Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to guide members through the mortgage process and secure the best financing options for homeownership goals. You will meet with members, review documents, and collaborate with the mortgage operations team to move loans through underwriting.

Responsibilities include explaining loan options, maintaining strong member relationships, and achieving individual and team sales targets while staying informed about current regulations and market

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience required.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification/licensing.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with Encompass or similar mortgage software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet with members to assess financial needs and mortgage preferences.
• Explain loan options, terms, and conditions clearly.
• Collect and review financial documents including credit reports and income statements.
• Prepare and submit accurate loan applications for approval.
• Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and stakeholders to facilitate approvals.
• Maintain communication with members to ensure a positive experience and meet sales targets.
