Job summary

Regions is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, and communicate progress to customers while building strong relationships with Realtors, builders, and financial planners.

The role awards commission-based compensation and requires NMLS registration. This position emphasizes business development in Arkansas, with opportunities to cross-sell Regions products and grow a local client base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicates progress and collects documentation.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and Federal regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing plan including real estate partners and frequency of contact.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
• Promotes Regions products through networking and referrals.
