M&T Bank Corporation in Lake Oswego, OR is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to provide liaison support for mortgage originators and customers. You will assist in developing referral sources, handling marketing and sales support, and ensuring accurate documentation for loan applications.

The role requires interaction with processors, underwriters, and closers to keep files complete and ready to close on time, while adhering to SAFE Act registration and compliance standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Secondary Marketing requirements.
• Knowledge of FHA/VA regulations.
• Knowledge of bank products and services.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region and sometimes work overtime.
• Prior mortgage experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Loan Officer in developing and managing a referral source, prospect and customer base.
• Interact with customers to complete the application process, ensure all necessary supporting loan documentation is obtained and accurate.
• Provide follow-up on loan conditions as required by commitment letter.
• Interact with Production department personnel to ensure loan file is complete and can close within required time frames.
• Serve as communication liaison between customer, M&T Bank and loan officer.
• Maintain and organize loan documents for all loan programs.
• Take loan applications as necessary and input loan data into processing system.
• Assist Loan Officer in providing required reporting as needed.
• Adhere to compliance/operational risk controls and policies.
• Promote the M&T Bank brand and internal controls.
