Job summary

Society Mortgage in Downtown Fort Lauderdale is hiring for a Loan Officer Assistant to train in mortgage sales and build a long-term career toward becoming a Mortgage Loan Officer.

You will work with warm leads, receive coaching from seasoned loan officers, and avoid cold calling, with a clear path to licensing and growth within the company.

This in-office, Monday–Friday role emphasizes training, performance, and a supportive team to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Must be driven, competitive and goal-oriented.
• Confident in phone communication.
• Coachable with willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• No NMLS license required to start.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 3-month loan officer assistant training.
• Speak with warm leads and potential borrowers.
• Qualify borrowers and identify their needs.
• Build your pipeline and develop sales skills.
• Work toward obtaining your NMLS license.
• Progress to a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer.

• Learn the fundamentals of mortgage sales and the home-buying process
• Speak with warm leads and potential borrowers
• Learn how to qualify borrowers and identify their needs
• Build confidence, communication skills, and sales techniques
• Receive hands-on coaching and learn directly from experienced Loan Officers
• Work toward obtaining your NMLS license
• Connect with borrowers and guide them through the mortgage process
• Manage your pipeline and develop your sales skills
• Take ownership of your production and earning potential
• Build a long-term career as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer
