Job summary

Chickasaw Community Bank in Ada, OK seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to originate and process residential loans, guiding borrowers from application to closing with empathy and expertise.

You will build strong relationships with Realtors and partners, stay current on loan products, and participate in community outreach to advance equitable access to homeownership.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license and compliance with mortgage regulations.
• 2+ years of mortgage loan origination or related experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.

Responsibilities

• Originate and process residential mortgage loans per policy and regulation.
• Guide borrowers through the loan process from application to closing.
• Build relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and referral partners.
• Conduct client consultations to assess financial needs and determine mortgage options.
• Stay updated on loan products, policies, and market trends.
• Collaborate with underwriting, processing and closing teams to ensure timely loan processing.
• Maintain regular contact with borrowers and Realtors between application and closing.
• Participate in community events aligned with lending goals.
