Job summary

Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer to perform full-service mortgage loan closing duties in Johnston, IA. You will prepare closing document packages meeting underwriting, investor and compliance requirements and coordinate closing timing with the banker to meet contract dates and lock expirations.

About this position

Description:

The Mortgage Loan Closer performs full-service mortgage loan closing duties.

• Accurately prepare closing document packages to meet all underwriting, investor and compliance requirements.


• Ensure all title objections are addressed and will be satisfied prior to or at closing.

Requirements:

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Required work experience: Two years of mortgage related experience working with processing purchase or refinance applications, clearing title, generating closing disclosures and closing documents.

Technology Skills: Word, Excel, DU, DO, LP, origination software, basic internet skills
