Job summary

Bell Bank Mortgage is seeking an entry-level mortgage loan originator under supervision to market and originate loans. You will gather documentation, structure loans, submit for underwriting, and maintain strong client communication to support a smooth closing process.

You may be mentored toward becoming a fully commissioned loan officer within 1–3 years, with opportunities to develop market share and expand client relationships in the Goodyear area.

Qualifications

• Two years of mortgage banking, outside sales or related experience.
• Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, HUD/VA lending and investor guidelines.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather information for documentation, underwriting and disclosures.
• Structure loans to meet product guidelines.
• Submit through DU/LP and review borrower findings.
• Enter all required information into the mortgage loan origination system and order appraisal.
• Solicit and take loan applications in a professional and timely manner.
• Price loans according to guidelines and secure signed lock agreements.
• Review CD and prepare the borrower for closing.
• Maintain regular customer contact with borrowers, processors and closers.
