Job summary
Bell Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant to support the loan officer in managing new and existing loan volume and to help market services to clients. You will maintain customer data, deepen relationships with clients and realtors, and ensure documentation aligns with investor requirements.
You will collaborate with the team to stay informed on 1st mortgage origination trends, provide excellent customer service, and help maintain efficiency across processing and closing activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of mortgage banking experience.
- Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and standard loan products.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work with Bell systems and procedures.
- Ability to support the loan officer with technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist loan officer in managing new and existing loan volume.
- Assist the loan officer with marketing their services.
- Maintain customer database and market to previous mortgage customers.
- Foster relationships with clients, realtors, builders to grow business.
- Ensure compliance with investor requirements and regulations.
- Follow up on missing documents and keep processing teams informed.
