Job summary

West Capital Lending is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to guide clients through the loan application process and assess creditworthiness. You will work with clients and underwriters to explain loan options, terms, and conditions, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will build relationships, process applications, verify financial data, and strive to meet individual and team sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the loan

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of loan products, underwriting processes, and applicable regulations.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan processing software.
Licensed Loan Officer (NMLS).

Responsibilities

Assess loan applications and determine creditworthiness from documents, credit reports, and relevant information.
Provide guidance on loan products, terms, and eligibility.
Process applications and obtain necessary documentation, verify data, complete forms.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.
Explain loan options, repayment terms, and risks; coordinate with underwriters.
Monitor progress and assist clients with questions; support sales goals.
