Job summary

BSI Financial Services in Irving, Texas is seeking a Mortgage Sales Assistant to support the servicing loan retention mortgage call center. This unlicensed, pre-sales role conducts outbound outreach, handles inbound inquiries, and connects interested consumers with licensed Loan Officers.

You will help Loan Officers maximize time on licensed activities, maintain lead follow-up, document interactions, and schedule appointments.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries.
• Ability to establish rapport and engage consumers by phone.
• Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Documentation of consumer interactions and manage multiple leads.
• Fast-paced, metrics-driven environment experience.
• Ability to learn mortgage terminology, processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to assigned leads for potential mortgage loan opportunities.
• Support inbound mortgage inquiries when a licensed Loan Officer is unavailable.
• Engage consumers using approved messaging and gather basic information to connect with a Loan Officer.
• Respond promptly to new leads and inquiries; manage lead status and follow-up.
• Warm-transfer and schedule Loan Officer appointments when needed; provide accurate notes.
• Maintain lead queues, call dispositions, and follow-up activities.
