Job summary

Newrez is seeking an Investor Accounting Analyst in Coppell, TX to support monthly reconciliations across investor accounts and escrow responsibilities. You will use Excel to analyze data, prepare cashbooks, and resolve variances in partnership with Audit and Investor Reporting teams.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and 0-2 years in mortgage servicing, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. On-site role with growth prospects.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 0-2 years of mortgage servicing experience.
• Intermediate to expert MS Excel experience; SQL or other database reporting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reconciliations of investor custodial accounts.
• Prepare monthly cashbook and test of reconciliations.
• Research loan and account variances and resolve issues.
• Assist with audits and ad-hoc reporting as directed.
