What we’re looking for:
AmeriSave is currently hiring Government Operations Specialists to join our winning team. Qualified candidates are task-driven, detail-oriented individuals with strong administrative skills, who also possess a competitive spirit and a positive attitude. This role focuses on important administrative tasks that support the expeditious movement of mortgage loans from sales through closing, resulting in a positive customer experience. No mortgage experience is required; we will provide extensive on-the-job training.
This is a remote opportunity to work from home.
The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm EST with occasional overtime.
What You’ll Do:
- Obtaining government case numbers for FHA and VA loans
- Ordering COEs on VA loans to determine eligibility and funding fees
- Pulling CAIVRS reports to ensure borrowers don’t have defaulted government debt
- Managing a conditions pipeline for FHA and VA loans, including reviewing income, taxes, and utility bills to meet HUD/VA guidelines
- Handling external and internal case number and appraisal transfers between our loans or other lenders, including conventional loans
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.0, or 5+ years of prior mortgage employment experience
- Mortgage experience preferred
- Government processing or insuring experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve
- Works independently / self-starter

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $15 per hour (or higher if required by your state) plus monthly bonuses based on performance. The target annual compensation is $35,000 to $50,000.
