Job summary

NVR Mortgage Summer Internship offers hands-on exposure to mortgage processing, pre-qualification, underwriting and closings for Ryan Homes, NVHomes and Heartland Homes customers.

You will work with mortgage professionals from application to settlement, learn regulatory requirements, and collaborate with sales and production teams. The program emphasizes customer communication and negotiation skills, and many interns become full-time employees after graduation.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college degree program (preferred to graduate within 12 months)
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
• Current Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options
• Guide customers from initial application to settlement date in a competitive marketplace
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting closings
• Learn about the homebuilding industry supported by NVR Mortgage
• Spend time with sales and production teams to see how teams deliver a customer's dream
