Job summary

NVR, Inc. is offering a Mortgage Summer Internship to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes customers. Interns will engage in pre-qualification, application guidance, mortgage processing, and closings under the supervision of mortgage professionals.

The program emphasizes practical experience, customer communication, and regulatory understanding, with many past interns joining NVR as full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program (preferably graduating within 12 months)
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
• Current Driver’s License
• Students from all degree majors are welcome

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate competitive financing options
• Guide customers from initial application to settlement date in a competitive marketplace
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports
• Spend time with sales and production teams to understand how the team delivers a customer's dream
