Job summary

NVR, Inc. invites you to join the Mortgage Summer Internship program where you’ll gain hands-on experience across the mortgage process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes customers.

You’ll be involved in processing, underwriting, and negotiations while learning regulatory requirements that govern the industry. You will collaborate with mortgage professionals to guide buyers from application to settlement, observe closings, and learn about the broader homebuilding business.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months preferred).
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Students from all degree majors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options.
• Learn how to guide customers from initial application to settlement date in a competitive marketplace.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Spend time with sales and production teams to experience management skills that deliver a customer's dream.
