Job summary

NVR, Inc. is offering a Mortgage Internship program designed for current students to gain hands-on experience across the mortgage process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes customers.

Interns will participate in processing, underwriting, and closings while learning regulatory requirements and customer communication. You will work alongside mortgage professionals who pre-qualify buyers and negotiate financing options, guided by mentors.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program (scheduled to graduate within 12 months).
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Current Driver’s License.
• Students from all degree majors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate competitive financing options.
• Learn how to guide customers from initial application to their settlement date in a highly competitive marketplace.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Spend time with sales and production teams to experience the hard work and management skills that come together to deliver a customer’s dream home.
