Job summary

NVR Mortgage Summer Internship program provides hands-on experience in all aspects of the mortgage process for our Ryan Homes, NVHomes or Heartland Homes customers. You\'ll gain practical experience in processing, closing, underwriting, customer communication and negotiation while learning about the regulatory framework governing the mortgage industry.

You will work alongside mortgage professionals, guiding customers from application to settlement in a highly competitive marketplace and gaining

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college degree program (preferred to graduate within 12 months)
• Highly driven & self-motivated with leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
• Current Driver's License
• Students from all degree majors are welcome

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options
• Guide customers from initial application to settlement date in a competitive marketplace
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports
• Spend time with sales and production teams to understand how a customer\'s dream home comes together
