Job summary

NVR is offering a Mortgage Summer Internship to provide hands-on experience in the mortgage process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes or Heartland Homes customers. You will learn processing, closings, underwriting, and customer communication while understanding regulatory processes; interns have the opportunity to transition to full-time roles.

You will work alongside mortgage professionals pre-qualifying buyers, guide customers from application to settlement, and gain exposure to the homebuilding

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college degree program (within 12 months of graduation preferred).
• Highly driven and self-motivated with leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Current driver's license required.
• Students from all degree majors are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside mortgage professionals as they pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate competitive financing options.
• Guide customers from initial application to their settlement date in a highly competitive marketplace.
• Gain experience in processing and obtaining mortgage approval and conducting mortgage closings.
• Learn about the homebuilding industry that NVR Mortgage supports.
• Spend time with sales and production teams to experience the hard work and management skills that come together to deliver a customer's dream home.
