Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. seeks reliable, detail-oriented independent Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections across specified Virginia counties. You will operate as a 1099 contractor, choosing a flexible schedule and working within your assigned territory.

No licensing required; prior experience is a plus but not necessary. Inspections may include exterior checks and occasional interior inspections, with weekly pay and direct deposit available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Smartphone and internet-enabled computer for reports.
• Ability to manage your own schedule and travel within your territory.
• Capable of inspecting occupied, vacant, and rural properties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE).
• Communicate with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.

This isa great opportunityfor self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently, traveling locally, and managing their own schedule.Inspections may include exterior occupancy checks, and occasional interior vacant or damage inspections.This contract position performs mortgage field inspections in assigned counties; counties available are Buchanan, Dickenson, Grayson, Lee, Scott, Tazewell, Wise, and Norton City. Coverage areas will be determined based on available counties, your location, and your availability.
