Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking a Full Time Originating External Sales Manager in Toms River, NJ to maintain personal production and supervise a staff of Loan Originators. The role requires strong knowledge of mortgage pricing/underwriting, compliance with FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA rules, and proven leadership in sales.

Travel is extensive, and a high school diploma is required. The position emphasizes building relationships with Realtors, attending referral meetings, and driving production while

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies.
• Must have a working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors.
• Must be familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.).
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information.
• Must have the ability to manage a staff of Loan Originators.
• Must be a sales-oriented self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Attend new referral source meetings.
• Maintain personal production goals.
• Develop and maintain Realtor relationships.
• Recruit Loan Originators at the discretion of the Branch Manager.
• Supervise and coach Loan Originators to ensure they are maintaining their production goals.
• Train the Loan Originators relative to proper sales techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.
• Monitor quality of loans originated by Loan Originators and ensure they are within company policy and guidelines. Also, monitor loan originators compensation plans and keep them in balance with production.
