Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in mortgage collections or related roles.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with diplomacy.
• Experience educating and guiding stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Educate members on the benefits of fulfilling their mortgage payment obligations.
• Contact delinquent members via telephone and written correspondence to resolve delinquent loan issues.
• Process routine transactions, document loan comments, and respond to members, investors, or other third-party inquiries.
• Research and prepare documentation, handle mortgage accounts in accordance with established guidelines and policies to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Maintain compliance with LMCU, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, VA, and RD policies and procedures.
