Job summary

Green Country Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Loan Processor Assistant to support the Homeowner Services team with applications, data entry, and mortgage processing to help families achieve homeownership.

The role requires organization, confidentiality, and effective communication; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with HUD certification within 90 days. Experience with CMS and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• HUD certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Experience with mortgage policies, procedures, and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Homeowner Services with daily responsibilities, including document collection and closings.
• Maintain communication on application status with relevant parties.
• Obtain updated financial statements, credit reports, and other financial information.
• Assemble escrow paperwork and maintain client files in HomeKeeper.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Build relationships with homebuyers, lenders, and customers.
