Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to uphold Lennar Mortgage's Compliance Management Program and serve as a regulatory guidance resource across the organization. The role focuses on interpreting federal and state mortgage rules, identifying risks, and supporting business partners with remediation efforts.

You will monitor regulatory developments, draft policies, and assist with examinations while collaborating with Compliance and Marketing teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years mortgage compliance experience
• Knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations (ECOA, HMDA, RESPA, TILA, UDAAP, ATR/QM, TRID, MAP, CAN-SPAM, SCRA, TCPA)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong research, interpretation, and communication of regulations

Responsibilities

• Research and communicate federal/state regulatory requirements to partners
• Collaborate on enterprise-wide compliance projects and training
• Review consumer-facing advertisements for regulatory guidance to Marketing
• Use Encompass to investigate loan-level issues
• Research compliance inquiries from various lines of business and provide timely responses
• Conduct transaction testing and monitor loan samples for risks
• Report findings, recommend corrective actions, assist remediation
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on business
• Draft, review, and maintain policies, procedures, training materials
• Leverage AI tools in a governance-friendly way
• Prepare for federal/state examinations and assist as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects
