Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Work and maintain past due portfolio consumer real estate loans to reduce mortgage delinquency.
• Collect past due portfolio consumer real estate loans by telephone and in-person when needed.
• Collect past due secondary market and guarantor mortgages per investor guidelines (FHA, SONYMA, FNMA, MPF, MAP, FHLMC, USDA, VA).
• Handle inbound and outbound collection calls professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare and mail notifications to delinquent borrowers per investor/guidelines.
• Document all collection efforts in the collections module.
• Comply with FDCPA, RESPA, SCRA, and Dodd-Frank as they relate to consumer real estate loan collections.
• Adhere to federal bankruptcy laws and related regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and internal controls and meet training requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
