Job summary

Selene Finance is seeking a detail-oriented collections specialist to manage a loan portfolio and communicate status, options, and timelines to borrowers. You will handle calls, document outcomes, and pursue payment resolutions with empathy and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years in mortgage servicing or collections, and a comfort with a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Bilingual skills are a plus, and knowledge of Black Knight systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Clear, professional communication with borrowers.
• Ability to explain account status and alternatives clearly.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven call center.
• Attention to documenting interactions accurately.
• Knowledge of default processes is a plus (Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, REO).

Responsibilities

• Manage collection activities for an assigned loan portfolio.
• Handle inbound/outbound borrower calls to collect payments and resolve inquiries.
• Secure payments and Promise-to-Pay commitments.
• Educate borrowers on repayment options and required documentation.
• Establish payment arrangements and ACH enrollment.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and compliance.
