Job summary

Lennar Mortgage is seeking a Loan Closer to join our team in Florida. You will send closing instructions and document packages to closing agents within required timeframes, ensuring accuracy and complete documentation.

You will collaborate with loan processors, production staff, and closers to meet closing dates and fund loans on schedule. The role requires 3–5 years of closing experience, a strong computer background with mortgage software, and an eye for detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of closing and/or closing and processing Conventional/FHA/VA experience.
• Strong computer background with 3–5 years experience in mortgage software.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documents.
• Knowledge of closing and title requirements.
• Ability to coordinate closings with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review all information in the Loan Origination System to ensure accuracy before closing.
• Wire funds to the closing agent within required timeframes.
• Review and approve the final Closing Disclosure (CD) from the closing agent.
• Familiarize with investors and state closing requirements and comply.
• Check loan documents for correctness prior to funding.
• Coordinate closings with escrow coordinators, Branch Managers and Loan Officers.
• Interface with processors and borrowers to collect conditions of approval.
• Anticipate closing requirements and manage timelines to meet funding goals.
• Monitor and manage fees charged and revenue.
