Job summary

Lennar Mortgage is seeking a Loan Closer to help ensure accurate and timely closings. The role collaborates with loan processors, production staff, and a closing agent to meet closing dates and verify the Closing Disclosure and ALTA statements.

The position requires 3–5 years of closing/processing experience and strong mortgage software proficiency, with attention to detail and knowledge of closing procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of closing and/or closing and processing Conventional/FHA/VA experience.
• Strong computer background with mortgage software experience.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of closing and title requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current knowledge of closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review for accuracy all information in Loan Origination System required to close a loan.
• Wire funds to the closing agent within the required time frame.
• Review and approve the final CD from the closing agent prior to funding.
• Coordinate closings with escrow coordinators, Branch Managers and Loan Officers.
• Interface with processors and borrowers to collect conditions of approval.
• Monitor fees charged and ensure proper revenue.
• Assist Closing Supervisor as needed.
