Job summary

Altisource in the United States is seeking a Mortgage Processor to oversee loan processing, verify information, and ensure compliance with TRID/RESPA regulations. You will liaise with clients, lenders, and internal teams to ensure timely closings and accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in US mortgage processing, strong MS Office skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. The role may include night shifts and requires collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream (Essential).
• Willing to work rotational/night shift (Essential).
• Strong verbal and written communication (Essential).
• 2-4 years of work experience in US mortgage processing (Essential).
• Experience in Mortgage Services (Desired).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Desired).

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to ensure documentation meets underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other relevant parties to resolve issues during the closing process.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation, ensuring proper storage and compliance with record-keeping regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, assisting in their professional development within the mortgage closing and processing domain.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, integrating this knowledge into daily operations.
