Job summary

TEKsystems in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Contract to Hire Mortgage Loan Processor to close first mortgage loans and prepare packages for settlement. The role is hybrid, onsite 3 days per week, with a 8:00–4:30 training schedule and post-training shifts in either 8:30–5:00 or 10:30–7:00.

Pay is $18.44/hour and benefits are offered. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of admin experience, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently with reliable high-speed

• Prior banking or real estate/financial institution experience preferred.
• 2–3 years of recent strong administrative work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry.

Job Description

• To close first mortgage loans in accordance with applicable federal/state laws as well as the credit unions' policies and procedures.
• Prepare mortgage packages for delivery to settlement companies for purposes of closing on conventional, Veteran's Administration (VA) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage products.
• To coordinate the closing and funding of assigned loan packages.
• Authorize release of closing packages to closing agent.
• Ensure credit, underwriting and property conditions have been satisfied prior to closing
• Pay: $18.44/hour

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Prior banking or experience working in real estate or for a financial institution is preferred
• 2-3 years of recent strong administrative work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have high speed internet to work hybrid (fiber or cable service)

Hours

• Monday - Friday
• Training Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Schedule After Training: EITHER 8:30am - 5:00pm OR 10:30am - 7:00pm. You must be open to both shifts, you will not be given your shift until after training
• This is a hybrid role which will require you to be onsite 3 days per week.
