Qualifications

• 3+ years of mortgage closing experience.

• Knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA/USDA guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret loan documents.
• Ellie Mae Encompass experience.
• Strong math and data interpretation.
• Experience with loan documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-closing audit of closing and compliance documentation.
• Prepare and send Closing Disclosure to settlement agent.
• Deliver Closing Disclosure to borrower within required timeframe.
• Review Mavent compliance on every file.
• Complete data entry in Encompass.
• Review and clear all underwriting conditions prior to closing.
• Request underwriting conditions from settlement agent.
• Generate and deliver closing documents to settlement agent.
• Ensure work quality adheres to company policy.
• Ensure loans in pipeline fund timely.
• Participate in pipeline or team calls/meetings.
• Maintain relationships with sales, processing, underwriting, funding, QA teams and leaders.
• Build relationships with home builder partners and title companies.
• Respond to internal QA and post-closing reviews.

Acrisure Mortgage, a leading residential mortgage lender, is seeking experienced Mortgage Closers for potential future opportunities within our organization. Essential Job Functions

The Loan Closers are responsible for ensuring the closing documents are prepared correctly, accurately and timely while maintaining a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers. Closers will audit the loan files and prepare closing documents based on internal guidelines and those established by FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and USDA. Loan closers should be experienced with purchase and refinances transactions for conventional, FHA, VA and USDA programs. Closers will also be trained in Construction Perm Loans, 203k, Loan Modifications and Bond Loans. We are a nationwide company and closers will need to be familiar with multi-state closing guidelines as well. This position reports directly to the Closing Manager and works closely with internal departments and external business partners.

Duties

• Performing pre-closing audit of closing and compliance documentation
• Preparing and sending Closing Disclosure (CD) to settlement agent for collaboration
• Deliver CD to borrower within required timeframe
• Reviewing Mavent Compliance report on every file
• Completing data entry in Encompass
• Reviewing and clearing all "Prior to Closing" underwriting conditions
• Requesting all "Prior to Funding" underwriting conditions from settlement agent
• Generating and delivering closing documents to settlement agent
• Ensuring work quality adheres to company policy and procedures
• Ensuring loans within assigned pipeline fund timely
• Attending and participating in pipeline or team calls/meetings
• Developing and cultivating great working relationships with sales, loan disclosure, processing, underwriting, funding, secondary and compliance teams and leaders
• Developing and cultivating great working relationships with key home builder partners and preferred title companies.
• Researching and responding timely to internal Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews
• Researching and responding timely to internal Post Closing reviews

Required Experience

• 3+ years of mortgage closing experience.
• Must be able to close 65 loans
• Knowledge of Non-Conforming, FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines and federal and state laws (e.g., TRID, TILA, ECOA and HMDA)
• Ability to read and interpret loan documents such as promissory notes, agency/investor and legal directives and other loan documents
• Can define problems, collect data, establish facts and provide information to resolve the situation.
• Works well under pressure, meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
• Able to apply basic math; calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
• 2-3yrs of Ellie Mae Encompass Loan Origination System Experience
